Don't take our word for it. Open your browser's DevTools (F12), click the Network tab, and run the tool. It stays empty, because the code that processes your file shipped to your browser along with this page — there's no server for it to travel to.
- Why is local processing important for bank statements?
- Statements contain account numbers, balances and transaction history. Because extraction runs on your device, none of that ever reaches a server, so there is nothing for anyone to store, leak or sell.
- What if the columns come out slightly wrong?
- After it exports, a review screen shows every extracted row: edit any cell that came out wrong, delete a row that should not be there, and re-export. Column boundaries are not adjustable yet, so a badly split column needs a manual fix in the grid. Scanned (image-only) PDFs are not supported. The text layer must be selectable.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. Everything runs locally in your browser. You can verify it yourself: open DevTools and watch the Network tab while the tool runs. It stays empty the whole time. This also means the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded.
